my schol anoys me... they blocked all gameing sites cept for the very uncommon games sites(aka the shity ones :/ ) my school uses mac's... its already anoying trying to play on a mac.... plz if any1 knows how to get past this shre with the rest of us!!!!!

Well, perhaps if a website of your own design, which IS allowed, loaded the websites in question in a frame. Not sure if it would work, but even without any knowledge of html it would be relatively simple to set up a page with your favourite links, all loaded in the frame of your own site.

1st, you really shouldnt be playing games, But... I know, I remebered how lame programming was so I'll give you an idea.

You're Schools computers all access the same portal to the internet, in which filters the content you ask for, now lets say you use a proxy server, that should enable you to browse the web freely.

I only know one otherway around filters and thats to type in the, servers IP adress, that holds the site you want to browse. and how I find out the IP adress is... in command prompt in windows... soooo yeah.

you could PM me the sites you'd like to goto and ill hit you back with the ip addresses.

start>run>type cmd>type "ping www.________.com" (w/o quotes) then type the ip address that pops up, it doesn't work with all sites but works for some

www.proxy4free.com haven't actually used it but i here ppl talk about it round school and seem to like it

I use
start > run> type cmd> type nslookup www.putyourwebsitehere.com and hit enter.

mine lists multiple ip addresses, kinda pick n test(like ebuams or other high traffic sites)

as he said before, he runs on a mac, Honestly dont think he has a command prompt

give me an address you want to goto and ill pm you the address to goto.

obviously kooldude, theyve blocked all anonymous proxy servers..not a whole lot you can do about that..unless you change then proxy your using to an outside proxy...maybe if you had one or something...thats all i know of doing.

This borders a bit too close to illegal activities for my taste.
If you have an issue with your school's choice in website blocking, please take it up with the administrator, or at least not on here.

For the same reason schools block the majority of web content, to cover their rear from legal action, so must we.
